Quitting alcohol is part of mastering your own happiness. When you become dependant for alcohol to feel good you reach for alcohol all the time. It is a tax on your wallet, your body, and your spirit.

Mark the date when you begin your two months. For two months refrain from drinking alcohol. If you start drinking again reset the start date. If after two months you still have trouble not drinking, keep adding two more months until the urge subsides.

each day after you say your mirror mantra add in this mantra:
I want to be in control of my own happiness. I don't want to depend on alcohol to feel good. I want to free my finances from alcohol. I want to get healthy by abstaining from alcohol. I want to heal my spirit by not driking poison. I am doing this because I care about myself and those around me. I want to be more than an alcoholic.
when you have completed your two months and are no longer dependant on alcohol remove the previously mentioned mantra and add this phrase to the end of your mirror mantra:

I have mastered freedom from alcohol.
