some people say that this man failed on his mission to escape homelessness.
thats not actually true. he escaped homelessness within a few weeks and
rented a place. what he failed on was his goal to make one million dollars
in one year. the only reason he failed that goal was because his dad got cancer.
basically, the kind of homeless strategy that a successful millionaire would
come up with is much better than the kind of homeless strategy that a random
person would come up with. so naturally we would like to copy the strategy of
people who are shown to be able to escape homelessness and not the
strategies of people who are unable to escape it.
essentially staying on the street is a bad idea. it is infinitely better to hotswap
temporary lodgings rather than live long term on the street.
1. ask for a blanket from others to stay warm.
2. use discarded cardboard from a dumpster to stay off the ground.
3. beg for money. purchase food that is within your means to have.
save whatever is left after food.
4. buy a $30 phone from walmart or seek a library computer.
5. secure temporary lodgings using the computing device.
6. secure an online remote job. something without a rigid schedule
where they dont know you are homeless and where you don't have
to commute to work.
7. sublet a room with roommates. if you can't afford to do this in a
